    • Remove any dirt, oil, and wood dust from the surface.

    -New Wood Surfaces (Exterior):

    • Sand the surface with sandpaper #80/120.
    • Thoroughly clean the generated dust.

    -Old Uncoated Wood Surfaces (Exterior):

    • Sand the weathered surface with sandpaper #150/180 or restore the wood surface using HEMEL Deck Restorer.
    • Thoroughly clean the generated dust.

    -Coated Wood Surfaces (Exterior):

    • Do not apply the product directly on pre-coated surfaces.
    • Remove the old paint/varnish from the surface thoroughly with a sanding machine.
    • Thoroughly clean the generated dust.

    • Sand the surface with a parquet sanding machine or hand using sandpaper #120/150.
    • Clean the generated dust thoroughly and remove it from the surface with a vacuum cleaner.

    -Pre-oiled Wooden Surfaces (Interior):
    •  Clean the surface with a damp cloth to remove all dust and wait until it dries.

    -Old Uncoated Wooden Surfaces (Interior):
    • Sand the weathered surface according to the desired surface appearance. It is recommended to sand with sandpaper #120 for a natural texture and #180-220 for a smoother texture.
    • Thoroughly clean the generated dust and remove it from the surface with a vacuum cleaner.
    • Remove the remaining dust with a damp cloth.

    -Varnished Wooden Floors (Interior):
    • Do not apply the product directly on pre-coated surfaces.
    • Remove the old varnish from the parquet completely with a scraping machine. Remove dirt, oil, wood dust, and old varnish residues from the surface.
    • Sand the surface to the desired finish. It is recommended to sand with sandpaper #120 for a natural texture and #180-220 for a smoother texture.
    • Clean the generated dust thoroughly and remove it from the surface with a vacuum cleaner.
    • Remove the remaining dust with a damp cloth.

    •Application:

    • The product is ready to use and does not require thinning.
    • Stir the product thoroughly before use and check its homogeneity. Repeat this process during the application.
    • For best interior and exterior wood results, apply two coats with a roller or brush, and brush off excess oil.
    • For best results on exterior wooden decks, apply one coat with a roller or brush, and brush off excess oil.
    • Apply in the direction of the wood grain to get a homogeneous look
    • The treated surfaces can be stepped on after 24 hours.

    •Maintenance (when the same product had been used before):

    • Do not apply the product directly on pre-coated surfaces.
    • Clean the wood surface entirely from dirt and oil and perform a slight sanding.
    • Thoroughly clean the generated dust.
    • Repeat the same process as described in “the Application”.
    • Inspect annually and maintain as required.

    • Never use any cellulosic, polyurethane, filler, or primer before applying HEMEL Rapid Oil.
    • Keep the product closed when not in use.
    • The general application temperature of the product is between 15°C to 25°C at a relative humidity range of 40-65%.
    • The moisture content of the wood should max 20%.
    • Do not apply the product under direct sunlight or rain. The area should be ventilated during and after the application to promote drying.
    • To provide long-life protection against decay, apply HEMEL Timbercare Aqua on untreated softwoods and wait 24 hours before applying the product.
    • Oiled interior floors should not be cleaned with ammonia-containing cleaning materials. • The treated surfaces can be stepped on after 24 hours. Allow seven days before spreading the carpet and cleaning.
    • The product should be stored at temperatures between 5°C to 35°C.
    • Painting tools should be cleaned with mineral spirits after the application.
