During the application, the application method and quantities specified in the Hemel Acrylic Filling Paste Technical Data Sheet should be followed.
Hickson Decor® Aqua Universal Primer must be applied on the applied surfaces.
Filling and repair putty application to be made in deep crevices, cracks and openings should not be done in one layer, it should be repeated several times in thin layers and it should be made sure that each layer is dry.
It should be kept closed so that you can use the filler and repair paste again. Otherwise, the paste may freeze.

Causes of the Problem
- Hemel Acrylic Filler and Repair Paste dries quickly due to its acrylic structure. If the cover is not kept closed after use, you may encounter problems in this way.
Solution:
- After using the wood filling and repair paste, you can cover the tip of the cartridge with the help of a cling film and attach the application tip n it, thus preventing Hemel Acrylic Filler Putty from drying by air.

Solution:
* After completing the application of wood repair and sealant, wait at least 2 hours for the product to dry.

Can I make an application on cracks in wood without applying Hemel Acrylic Wood Filler?

How should I prepare the wood before applying Hemel Acrylic Wood Filler?
If opaque / covering paint is to be used, Hickson Decor Aqua Universal Primer should be applied first before applying filler and repair putty to the cracks in the wood. If you are going to use Hickson Decor Aqua Universal Primer in covering paint applications, we recommend that you apply the primer first and apply wood filler, and repair putty to the areas that the primer does not cover. In this way, your paste consumption will be less and you will get a smoother and homogeneous surface. If you are not going to apply a primer, you can also use it directly on the wood.

- Apply HEMEL Acrylic Filling Paste on previously Hickson Decor® Aqua Universal Primer coated surface.
- Apply HEMEL Acrylic Filling Paste on nailheads, joint points, capillary cracks and depths below 3 mm.
- Apply several thin coats if 1 coat of HEMEL Acrylic Filling Paste application is insufficient to cover deep clefts, cracks and openings. Ensure each layer is completely dry before applying the new one.
- Perform slight sanding after the application of HEMEL Acrylic Filling Paste and leave it to dry completely.
- Complete the process by applying Hickson Decor® Breather Paint or Hickson Decor® Aqua Breather Paint on the surface.
